Gold Silver Alloy Nanoparticles
Nanodiagnostics Gold/Silver Alloy Nanoparticles are produced through laser ablation of bulk gold and silver in pure solvent (H2O). This results in ultra-pure Au/Ag alloy nanoparticles devoid of any contaminants. Further, these particles do not have any stabilizing molecules on the surface (e.g. citrate).
With an improved stability over standard silver nanoparticles while still maintaining surface plasmon resonance characteristics in the 400-500nm range, these particles are a good alternative to both silver nanoparticles and gold nanoparticles when more demanding conditions are required.
These particles have a diameter of 30nm and are available in three gold : silver ratios with different optical properties to suit your particular application requirements.
